It's actually really easy to make.



In the original picture, The Moon here is a little staggered
To add a sense of realism to the manipulation, the moon needs to look like it's slightly above the hand and not out of it.
So, the light needs to removed completely from the background and we'll add the moon as another layer.

To remove the light. I used the Brush Tool. I like it because it gives me more freedom. You may use shapes too.

Then place the moon on top of the hand in another layer. However, you will notice a difference in colours immediately.

To tackle this, Change the Hue/ Saturation and make it Black and White to match the Moon's colours.

and voila!
Your Manipulation is ready. You may need to play around with shadows and inner glow or shadow of the moon depending on the photo you choose.
